A self-adhesive film to protect birds against bird strikes on windows. The transparent window film include a wide array of irregular patterns that reflect optically. The patterns act on the birds like spots of grey colour which interrupt the light reflection on the pane.
Birds take these full-surface patterns from afar as an obstacle and turn away from the glass façade during their approach. According to a study, special optical sensors with which the animals can see in the UV range are responsible for this. Unfortunately, the human eye cannot do this. Therefore, films that fully absorb up to 400nm are still invisible to humans.
The films can easily be applied to all windows. The protection against bird strike and thus the protection of your windows against splintering is immediately effective. The detailed installation instructions can be found below as a link. An integrated UV400 filter absorbs the entire steeling up to 400nm and thus prevents an additional summer heat input.
In addition, the special films delay premature ageing of furniture and protect sensitive surfaces from yellowing.
