Transparent, light-tinted, and clear sun-protective film that provides NIR (near-infrared) protection up to approximately 1010 nm. The self-adhesive film is applied to the outside of the window. The semaDK® Lux NIR 990 window film reduces incoming solar energy in the visible spectrum by approximately 40%. It blocks up to 90% of the incident solar energy in the near-infrared range at approximately 1010 nm. As a result, the rooms heat up less during the summer months, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate.
A built-in, minimalist anti-glare screen improves the experience of working on monitors placed near a window from inside the room and ensures a clear view of the outdoors. From the outside, the window tint appears light and neutral. The semaDK® Lux NIR 990 film has an acrylate-based adhesive layer on the back. The film semaDK® Lux NIR 990 sun control film reduces the amount of light entering through the window across the entire spectral range by up to approximately 40% compared to standard window glass.
The films are applied to the outside of the window using a wet-adhesive method.
Can be used on single-pane, insulated, and plastic glazing.
+ Glass shard retention feature on the film side in the event of glass breakage
Glare protection through neutral-colored light reduction
Sunlight is significantly reduced.
Summer Heat Protection
During the summer months, high levels of high-energy solar radiation enter interior spaces through the windows. The film blocks a large portion of the radiant energy, including that in the near-infrared range, thereby reducing the heating of the rooms. This results in moderate glare protection and a comfortable indoor climate.
High Transparency
Neutral Colors – Light, Clear, and Neutral-Colored Film
Easy to use
The film is easy to apply to the outside of glass surfaces and can be removed at any time without leaving any residue
Durability
The anti-glare effect lasts for yearsanglebigkeit
